Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel?

Absolutely! While I am based in central Wisconsin, I happily travel to Milwaukee, Madison, Minneapolis and throughout the Midwest. Travel fees may apply depending on your wedding or session location—we will discuss those details together!

2. Do you help with timeline and session planning?

You bet! I help plan your session, so all you have to do is focus on being present and having fun together. This typically looks like a 30-minute call for couples/family sessions, and up to an hour for wedding timeline planning (1 month out from the wedding).

3. What if it rains?

We pivot! For sessions, we can embrace the mood, find indoor locations, or reschedule. For weddings, I bring backup gear, lighting, and creative rainy-day solutions. I'm very flexible if we need to cancel for weather, emergencies or sickness, and these are all included in my contract so you know exactly what to expect if Plan A doesn't pan out.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

I offer online, digital galleries for all of my photography services. You can order prints or albums from a professional print shop directly through your gallery link.

5. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, I always welcome a mood board for inspiration. However, my work is centered on capturing your true nature and the genuine, candid moments that naturally unfold. I don't want your session to feel forced, and you don't want your photos to look that way either! We'll work together to find natural, flattering poses and draw on inspiration to guide us (but never copy it directly).

6. How long until I receive the final photos?

Session turnaround times are typically 4 weeks, and wedding galleries are 8 weeks.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Yes, it is actually my preference to meet before a session! I find that a 15 - 30-minute call to chat through your options, discuss what you want your photos to feel like, and get to know one another prior to a session always makes you feel more at ease in front of the camera—which will also make your photos better!

8. How far in advance should I book?

Weddings typically book 6–12 months out, although I will accommodate a shorter or longer timeframe if I have dates available. Engagement and family sessions typically book 2–3 months out, especially during busy seasons. I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later to reserve your spot!
